Since 2013, Louis has applied his determination and vision to the purchase of select architecture and design firms to augment and broaden Lemay’s service offering. In recent years, Louis’ work has been honoured with a myriad of awards and acknowledgments. In 2002, the firm was awarded the Governor General’s Medal for Architecture, while in 2012, it received the Best of Canada Award for Interiors and the Award of Merit from Canadian Architect magazine.  Also in 2012, Lemay won top prize at an international competition involving the design of a fortress city in Constantine, Algeria.
