Showcasing Montreal's identity

The expansion of the Montreal-Trudeau international jetty presented the opportunity to rethink the airport’s interior, proposing a layout more adapted to passengers’ needs and reflective of Montreal’s vibrancy.

Luminous, contrasting spaces were created with a new range of colours and materials. A unique and memorable experience now promotes the city as a place of innovation as well as a vital, welcoming urban centre. Aéroports de Montréal reduces its ecological footprint with this new reflection of Montreal, with highly secure facilities adapted to the latest technologies.

This vast expansion project by Lemay creates an attractive and contemporary setting to introduce Montreal as a festive Canadian city, displaying its welcoming and highly technological angle to travellers. An important component of this modernization project over the next 20 years relates to the airside planning and development; the new geometry developed by Lemay optimizes apron area, aircraft parking and operational support areas to boost rush-hour efficiency of all services.
