Accommodating growth

In an effort to improve healthcare for residents on the outskirts of Shanghai, the Changzheng university hospital will provide a satellite facility offering patient care, research and education services. The largest hospital ever to be built in one phase in China, it comprises four iconic towers and capacity for 2,000 beds. Looking to obtain a LEED certification, the concept features abundant natural light and can accommodate future growth thanks to a highly flexible design.
